What is SkipperCheck?

SkipperCheck is an online sailing school by Nautica.lv — the Baltic's first international sailing school. We offer the online VHF Radio Course (SRC), a Skipper Refresher Course, a daily maritime quiz, and independent yacht consulting for owners and charter clients.

Is the SkipperCheck VHF (SRC) certificate internationally recognised?

Yes — it is accepted in many countries. The course is aligned with CEPT/ERC/REC 31-04 and ITU Radio Regulations, and the certificate is commonly accepted for yacht charter and MMSI / Ship Radio Licence applications. Recognition depends on your flag state and local authority, so please verify before use.

Can I do everything online?

Yes. Theory, practice, exam and certificate issuance are all handled online. For the VHF SRC certificate, a short online ID and practical radio check may be required before the certificate is issued.

Do I need to be a member to play the maritime quiz?

The daily Strike Quiz demo is free and open to anyone at /play. A free account lets you track your score, compete on the global leaderboard and subscribe to the weekly bonus question email.
