Harbour Ready · docking simulator

Dock with confidence — knowing you're doing it right.

A good docking starts with a plan that fits the real harbour, the wind and how your boat actually handles. Experiment here first — stern-to, bows-in, a catamaran in a tight slot — try it your way, see what the boat does, get every order explained. Then do it for real, calmly.

The full demo: stern-to on a lazy line

The whole manoeuvre from the first burst astern to the last line made fast — exactly as a lesson shows it before you take the helm.

Watch it done — then do it yourself

Every lesson has a demo that shows the manoeuvre from the first burst to the last line, step by step. Then you take the helm: same harbour, same wind, scored on how you did it.

Stern-to between two boats

Reverse into a med slot, both stern lines ashore, then the lazy line — engine in neutral near the propeller.

Two hulls, one tight slot

Astern on two engines, rudders amidships: the windward engine holds her straight.

Bows-in, stopped on a line

The fore spring led aft stops her before the pontoon — no guessing, no freezing.

Built for the moment you dread

A crosswind across the slot, a boat that kicks to port astern, neighbours a metre away and the whole quay watching. Here a mistake costs nothing — so you make it here, not there.

Built by an experienced sailing instructor who analysed every detail of how a boat moves: the carry, the kick astern, the drift in the wind, the moment a line takes the load.

Questions

Is this a subscription?

No. You pay once for a year of access. Nothing renews by itself — buy again only if you want to keep going.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in your browser on a computer. Keyboard or mouse: engine, wheel, thruster, fenders and lines each have a key.

Does it help on a real boat?

It trains the plan and the order of things — where to line up, when to give a burst, which line goes first — so on the day you are not working it out under pressure. It does not replace time on the water; it makes that time count.
