Your sailing school or even government examiner is not always unbiased. There are a lot
of skippers whose skills do not correspond to their license. The fact that someone got a
license a long time ago does not mean that he has skills today.
Our Experience endorsement resolves both problems.
To get an Experience endorsement certificate, pass the short theory exam – we will only ask the
basics of basics. So, it’s simple if you are a sailor. And ask some other sailors who can put
in a good word about you and confirm your practical skills.
Revise and keep trying until you pass, refresh before every charter, and brush up on
your theory and practical skills.
To gain your new license credibility, ask a charter company or harbormaster to endorse
your skills each time they see your interaction with a boat.

Steps to obtain the Experience endorsement:
- Submit and Validate: Complete your seatime CV, submit your current licenses, and share your course completion certificates. We'll count all miles and harbors you visited.
- Theory test: To get certificate we will ask you to pass a simple, small quiz-type exam. Be assured – we are asking just the basics of basics, things that every sailor must know.
- Skills Approval: We need to be sure that you can skipper the boat. Show your skills to your crew, captain, sailing school, or charter company for approval. This is always a live crowd approval system. More feedback, good approvals - better reputation.
- Receive and Share: Once ready, get your Charter skipper license, print it, and share your upgraded status. We also offer credit card-style plastic certificates for your convenience.
